dear expectant mother
If I imagine myself in your shoes, considering adoption, I believe I would feel overwhelmed and perhaps even frightened. This is a challenging decision for you, to say the least. While I am sure this is not an easy time for you, I hope for better days ahead for you, and I want to let you know my thoughts are with you. From my point of view, adoption feels like the ultimate act of love and of being a mother: the hope for your baby to thrive and flourish and taking the necessary steps to make that happen. The fact that you love and cherish your baby is evident, and I am humbled by that love.
My dream has always been to be a mom, and I wish to share with you my commitment to being a responsible, kind, and loving mom. I am blessed with parents who have been my constant source of strength—enduring, comforting, and supportive. My commitment to you is that I will strive to model that for your baby as well.
I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to speak with you and answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration, and I wish you and your baby the very best.
Sincerely,
Ashley
About Me
Hello! My name is Ashley. I am a registered nurse, and I work as a school nurse for my local school district in an elementary building. I can't tell you how blessed I am to get to go to work with such great people and serve children every day. I feel it is a privilege and honor to be in my school taking care of my students. I am just a short drive away from work, and one of the many benefits of my school district is major holidays and summers off. We also have a preschool on campus for children of employees. My coworkers and family would describe me as patient, a good listener, and lighthearted. I love family walks and Monday night bowling (mainly for the company and snack bar). I am a chronic bookworm and feel like the books are always way better than the movie, right?
My Home & Pets
I live in the Ozark Mountains, in a warm and welcoming community. My home is a white house with a large backyard, and I share it with my five-year-old Maltese dog named Cosmo (who is spoiled rotten). My phone is full of photos of him! My town is a great place to raise a family. The school district is amazing, and I always feel safe anywhere I go. I am also surrounded by beautiful nature, and my local area boasts several lakes and rivers. A short drive away is Silver Dollar City and Crystal Bridges Museum. We have two great parks in town, and the local university has an amazing walking trail. Fishing, hiking, swimming, and lazy boat rides are our local pastimes.
My Extended Family
I am so fortunate to have a wonderful support system. My parents, my older sister, and her family are all supportive and looking forward to a new addition to the family. We all live in the same town, only minutes from each other, and spend a lot of time together. Every Monday night my mom, sister, aunt, and I bowl in a league. (Our team name is Holy Split lol.) During the summer, we are always out on the boat, soaking up some sun and, let’s be honest, eating too much!
My dad says it best whenever a challenging moment comes along: “We are in it together.” It's now become our family motto. When we spend time together and we make those silly, happy, and hilarious memories, I think, ah…this is what it’s all about.
What Led Me To Adoption
I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to write to you. For the past several years, I have been trying to start a family. While I am not physically able to have a baby, I believe the opportunity with Angel Adoption is the next step in my journey, and I am hoping it might allow me to fulfill my dream of starting a family and creating precious moments to last a lifetime. I understand that in starting a family, my dream being fulfilled might cause considerable challenges for you. I want you to know that if we get the chance to speak, I will do my utmost to be honest and sincere and to honor your feelings.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
