dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to introduce ourselves and tell you about our family. We would like to thank you for the time, thought, research, and energy you are putting into this decision. We have been blessed in so many ways already in life that we would like to share our blessing and love with another child. We promise to provide unconditional love and a stable home with lots of family and friends to surround and love them.

We cannot begin to imagine what you must be feeling, thinking, and experiencing during this time. We know that what could be the happiest day of our lives might very well be the hardest of yours. As you face this most difficult decision, please know you are covered in prayer and love by two strangers who would be blessed to meet you and your little one. And if you so choose, we would be honored to be a part of this journey with you through the tears and the joys.

Thank you again for considering us as parents for your baby.

Andrew & Katie

About Us

Hi! We’re Katie and Andrew. We met at a little coffee shop and talked for hours. From that day forward, our love grew. We had a great weekend-long wedding with lots of events for our families to share in. We love to travel, both internationally and domestically. We have a goal of visiting every state in the United States before we retire. Andrew enjoys being a high school and college football official. Katie enjoys powerlifting, swimming, and making homemade cards. We live an active lifestyle; typical days include working out, playing at the park with our daughter, working, and making dinner together. Weekends are spent swimming in our pool, golfing, and making memories with our daughter.

Our Home

We live in a suburban family neighborhood in the Southwest. Our home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms with an open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen. We have a great fenced-in backyard with a grassy area and a pool. Our pool has a safety cover and alarms on the doors leading to the outside. Our neighbors have children ranging from a couple of months old to high school age. We live in a great school district and have lots of friends around to provide support.

Our Extended Family

Andrew’s parents have been married for 40+ years. Andrew has one sister and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Andrew grew up close to his extended family, and they often gathered at his grandfather’s house after school. Traditionally, they spend holidays together. Andrew is very close to his grandfather. They would often sit in recliners together at his home and watch sports for hours.

Katie’s parents have been married for 40+ years as well. Katie has three brothers, a niece, and a nephew. Katie’s family home was the place where extended family gathered on weekends and holidays. Katie had a special bond with her fraternal grandmother, Grams. Katie and Grams were partners in crime, often found going on vacation together, shopping, and eating ice cream. Katie is very close to her younger brother and his family. Several times a year, we travel to see both sides of the family.

Our Adoption Story

Before we got married, the discussion of having children and creating a family was a topic we discussed at great length. Both of us have always dreamed of having children. After lots of research, we decided adoption was the path meant for us to grow our family. We were blessed with our daughter via adoption a few years ago. Our relationship with our daughter’s birthmother has been great since the start. Currently we provide updates, and her birthmother provides us updates on her life. We as a family have decided we would like to expand our family again through the adoption process.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
