dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
First and foremost, we want to say thank you for taking a few minutes to learn about us and the life we’ve built together. It’s impossible to really summarize who we are as people in a few short paragraphs, but the two words we hope come to mind as you read our story are love and laughter. These have been constants for us, and we have relied on them through our struggles with fertility and the uncertainty of the adoption process.
Of course, we don’t have to tell you about uncertainty. We have so much respect and appreciation for you and for the difficult decision you have to make. If you choose to trust us with your child, we promise to earn that trust every single day. That means so much more than taking them on vacations to Disney World or creating a winter wonderland for them every Christmas morning (although both will definitely happen). It goes beyond family game nights or weekend walks for ice cream (although there will be plenty of those too). Above all, it means that your child will wake up each morning knowing they are loved unconditionally and that we will always be in their corner through all of life’s ups and downs.
Thank you again for your time, and we hope to have the chance to meet you someday.
Sincerely,
Matt and Anastasia
About Us
We are just a couple of big kids at heart. Our home is always full of laughter inspired by corny jokes and silly antics. Matt spends the workweek as a dedicated asset manager in commercial real estate, while Anastasia loves her part-time roles as an administrative assistant for a local law firm and a nanny for a nearby family. Our favorite part of the day is coming home to each other, and we spend our evenings playing games, watching sports and funny television shows, or going for walks around town. On the weekends, we like to spend time with family and friends, find new restaurants to try, and play several fun yet competitive rounds of miniature golf. We cherish every day and try to treat each one as a new adventure.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a four-bedroom, two-bathroom farmhouse on the outskirts of a small town. It’s the very same home where Anastasia grew up, and we’ve loved making it our own over the past three years. The very best addition has been our mini bernedoodle, Guster, who is excited about the opportunity to share cuddles, puppy kisses, and all of his favorite squeaker toys with your child. The surrounding community is incredibly close knit and family oriented, with a number of fun traditions, including the annual firemen’s festival and monthly farmers market during the summer months. It’s also well known for its selection of delicious pizza places.
Our Extended Family
We both come from smaller families who cherish nothing more than spending time together. Anastasia is one of two children, and her younger brother is at the house all the time to help us with chores or just to hang out. Matt is the oldest of three children and his sister also lives in town, while his brother lives a couple hours away near his parents.
Anastasia’s parents live out of state in Florida, where Matt’s parents also have a timeshare, so we’re usually there at least once or twice each year. Matt’s parents are huge fans of Disney World and Universal Studios and love to spend days on end walking the parks and seeing the newest roller coasters and attractions. Anastasia’s parents prefer a quieter day at home, where we play board games and watch sci-fi movies with her dad while her mom whips up delicious meals.
What Led Us To Adoption
While we have been down a challenging path over the past two years with regard to fertility, we have also always been interested in adding to our family through the miracle of adoption and are so incredibly excited about this opportunity. Our hardships have served to illustrate that our lives are blessed with more love than we could have ever imagined, and we want nothing more than to share that love with your child. We have seen through family, friends, and others the impact that adoption can have on so many lives and hope to someday be a part of that world.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
